Find below everything you need to know to be ready for the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge.

Participation package

Participation package for each participant:

Extensive supply at each checkpoint with sports nutrition and drinks from Maurten and a wide range of biscuits and fruit from Lidl
- 250 km – 5 feed stations
- 150 km – 3 feed stations
- 80 km – 1 feed station
Nice pair of socks in the starter pack

Accident insurance (no helmet = not insured)

A frame plate with chip for tracking points

* Supplies only on presentation of the frame plate! Participants without a frame plate will not be allowed on the course.

Collection of participation package

Frame plates and bib numbers can be picked up at the start-finish location in Banneux at the following times:

Friday 24/04 from 1 pm – 7 pm
Saturday 25/04:
- 250 km: 6:30 am – 7:30 am
- 150 km: 7:30 am – 10 am
- 80 km: 9:00 am – 10:00 am

Changing rooms and showers

A few weeks before the event, you will receive the necessary information about changing rooms/showers.

Changes

Would you like to change your distance or name? That’s possible until midnight on 22 April 2026 via info@golazo.com. Afterwards any changes are only possible on site at the ‘changes name & distance’ booth.

We would like to receive the following information from the substitute in case of a name change:

Distance change

First collect your starter pack and have your distance changed at the booth ‘changes name & distance’. Changing to a shorter distance is free. For a change from a shorter to a longer distance the difference in price will be charged.

Name change

First collect the starter pack with the confirmation email of the person whose registration you are taking over. Then change the personal data at the ‘changes name & distance’ booth.
Don’t forget to bring your ID. For a name change an administration fee of € 5 will be charged on site.

Health

The organizer recommends that everyone avoid strenuous efforts for which they are not physically prepared. Make wise choices regarding the distance you want to cover and/or the pace you want to impose on your body.

If you want to perform sports at a high intensity, you should have yourself checked annually by a (sports) doctor. The presentation of medical certificates is not mandatory.

It is up to the athlete to decide how to deal with the information provided during a medical check-up.

The organizer bears no responsibility in this regard.

Do you feel sick, cough, sneeze or have a fever? Given the current health situation, we advise you to stay at home and not come to the event.

Can I cancel my entry?

Are you injured or unable to participate for another reason?

When registering, you can take out cancellation insurance for only €14. In case of cancellation until February 4, 2026 inclusive, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.

Any extras such as the t-shirt, merchandise, Sportograf photo pack, medal engraving, and the cancellation insurance itself are not refundable (non-exhaustive list). Note: if you are already registered without this cancellation insurance, it is unfortunately no longer possible to take it out afterwards.

Cancellation requests must be submitted no later than February 4, 2026 via this contact form.

From February 5, 2026, it will no longer be possible to request a refund.
