WE CARE ABOUT CYCLING
Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge is a recreational cycling event that takes place on open roads. Therefore, at all times, you must respect the traffic laws (obeying traffic lights, right of way, stop signs, yielding, etc.).
Stay cautious and adhere to safety rules:
- Ride on the right side of the road
- Overtake only on the left
- Adjust your speed according to the weather conditions, especially during descents
- Do not overestimate your physical condition
Attention: Any participant not adhering to the traffic laws may face penalties as provided by the traffic code.

Diabetes Liga
Onze missie is om mens en maatschappij te inspireren dat iedereen met of zonder beperkingen in staat is tot grote prestaties, zolang je maar uitgaat van je mogelijkheden in plaats van je beperkingen.
Diabetes dreigt een wereldwijde epidemie te worden. Tegen 2030 heeft 1 op de 10 mensen diabetes. Dat zijn meer dan 1 miljoen mensen. Schrikwekkende cijfers. Bij type 2 diabetes, de meest voorkomende vorm, zijn ongezond eten en te weinig bewegen de grote boosdoeners.
Daarom willen wij diabetes onder de aandacht brengen en aantonen dat sportieve prestaties perfect haalbaar zijn voor mensen met diabetes, type 1 of type 2, mits uiteraard de nodige medisch begeleiding. Daarnaast vestigen wij de aandacht op de preventieve kracht van beweging bij mensen die een verhoogd risico hebben op type 2 diabetes. Beweging is immers een essentiële pijler in zowel de behandeling als de preventie van diabetes.

Respecteer de wegcode en fiets proper!
De organisatie en de politie zullen toezien op het respecteren van de wegcode. Overtredingen zullen gesanctioneerd worden.
Om het voortbestaan van het evenement niet in het gedrang te brengen, vragen we dus nadrukkelijk om de verkeersreglementen na te leven, geen afval achter te laten, en niet te wildplassen.
Wij rekenen op een sportieve ingesteldheid van alle deelnemers. Als iedereen hieraan meewerkt wordt zaterdag 23 april opnieuw een hoogdag!
