Some featured climbs
Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge is not an ordinary ride, but a real test: tough climbs, fast descents, and a route winding through deep forests and open heights. In this beautiful green setting, you’ll find climbs that even the pros fear.
La Redoute
Perhaps the most famous climb of this hilly spring classic. At 2,100 meters long, one thing is certain: La Redoute will hurt. With an average gradient of over 8% and peaks exceeding 20%, this climb is a real killer. It’s known as a tough test for cyclists and is recognizable by its characteristic image next to the E25 highway.
Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons
The climb starts at the bridge over the Ourthe, in the heart of the pretty village of Hony. The first section, just over a kilometer, is quite steep. Those who start too fast will regret it later. The real challenge is in the second part of the climb. After a short descent, you have to climb almost two more kilometers. Even though the gradient eases, your legs are already heavy from the previous effort. So pace yourself!
Côte de Saint-Roch
This climb deserves its reputation! It’s only 900 meters long, but it’s particularly steep. From the beautiful town of Houffalize, you climb straight up: the first 600 meters have a gradient between 13% and 18%. Good luck!
